This friday SJB Christoffer is guest-dj at our favorite dj-duo Y+M‘s club WTFF at Marie Lavevau.
As it wasn’t enough with a Y+M set they have invited the great techno act Motormännen to play live. Motormännen make informational techno by sampling old Swedish politicians and (for once) making them sway.
Come on by, it’s free until 23!

The latest release by Henrik Bergqvist is out now on Boss Musik and it’s a solid diamond dance piece. The 12″ also features a “cover” or maybe homage to Daniel Bells Losing Control. Have a listen to Skyrunner for example and therafter run away and buy some wax kidpeoples.
A couple of days ago we wrote about the new Swedish label Second Voyage and their first release with the producer duo with the same moniker and their great Kingda Ka 12″. Here’s the second record and it’s becoming clear that Second Voyage is working towards success. Red Royalty’s Spirit is a great floor oriented piece. Top top, don’t miss.
If you’re in Sthlm late November Second Voyage is hosting a double party for it at the great Snickars Records store by day 14-17 and by nigh at the classic bar Tranan.
Here’s a nice little electronica by a young talent.
The presstext explains all you need to know:
“A vibrant little scene is growing and glowing around the Sad Boys and Gravity Boys in Stockholm. Next to step up is the 20 year old producer Vattenrum, who sits on a treasure of unreleased tracks This summer he has performed hour-long dj-sets in Stockholm clubs, using only his own work. From off-kilter electronica via sizzling future bass to flirts with big room 4/4 house.
Vattenrum’s focus lies on filtration and processing of sounds rather than melodies. Or as he puts it, sounds as stories. The correlation between short and lasting sounds and stories. Can for example a short sound express a lasting effect and that way be experienced as stretched, as a story..? “This is the kind of issues i like to contemplate when i create music”. Listen to the Emerald Pools EP with open senses and feel for yourself.”
